I know that sometimes we ask ourselves "Why would the Lord love me? I'm just a flawed sinner."
But in the Bible itself we find the answer to our question: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
Jesus loves us based on who He is, love is part of His essence. I don't deserve it, we don't deserve his love. But, it is inevitable for him not to love us.
It is not easy to understand, much less accept that a God so great and so wonderful loves us, even though we are flawed.
God's love saved us, He saved us because He loves us and forgave our sins.

Sometimes you feel that you don't deserve His love, that you are not worthy of His love and forgiveness. A wonderful example of His love and forgiveness can be found in His last hours on the cross.
When a crucified man next to Him was being killed for his crimes. Turning to Jesus, he said, "Jesus, remember me when you are in your Kingdom. Jesus answered, saying, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise" (Luke 23:42-43). Despite this criminal's sins, Jesus accepted his simple and sincere act of faith and promised him eternity in heaven - even though he knew the man had no time to live his life differently.
God is waiting for you! Talk to him and ask for forgiveness for your sins.
"Dear God, I realize that I am a sinner and that I could never reach heaven by my own good deeds. At this moment, I place my faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who rose from the dead to give me eternal life. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to live for You. Thank You for accepting me and giving me eternal life."
May the love of our Lord be with you!
See you soon
